Some dates for your 2009 Diary:

March 21st - Head of the River Race, London. A ChChBC crew will be competing over the 4.25 mile race, starting number 165.

March 29th (Sunday) The Boat Race. A gathering in support of the Dark Blues (and especially of our two men in the Blue Boat, Ante Kusurin and Ben Harrison) will be held at the London Rowing Club on Putney Hard from 2.30 onwards. This is by kind arrangement with Chris Sprague, the ChChBC Chairman. All friends of the Club are welcome to attend and to cheer on the crews; please inform the door-wards that you have come to join the ChCh/Sprague party.

May 25th-30th incl. Summer Eights. There will be a ChChBC Society gathering on the Boathouse Deck on the Saturday afternoon - do come along and watch the House crews strive for their respective FOUR Headships.

June 19th (Friday) Boat Club Dinner in Hall. This year there is already a lot to celebrate and we hope to add to that tally. All old members are invited to join the ever-increasing numbers that attend this hugely enjoyable event.

July 1st-5th incl. Henley Royal Regatta. The Club aims high again - and hopes to enter two crews once more at the highest possible level in the Regatta and to improve on last year's showing. On the Saturday evening from 6-8pm there will be the annual Pimms party at car-space AA78 (thanks once again to Archdeacon John Morrison). This is always a well-attended and fun party and we hope to see many old members there to celebrate another memorable year for rowing at the House.
