This page is for the crews taking part in the Regatta. Whether you're predicting a massive win, or are too afraid to ask another crew out on a date, this is the place to make your voice heard. Calum, from Magd MA writes: "I was just writing so that Magdalen Men’s A could say a wowdacious thank you to Mansfield Men’s B for showing real sportsmanship after we shagged up and took a wander into their lane. You guys kick ass!"
-Many thanks to Mansfield for their sporting display. It really underlined the good spirit shown by almost all of the crews in the event.

More importantly, the marshals have, after four days, decided that the fittest crew on the river is Teddy Hall WA. The Jet photographer clearly agrees, as there are three pictures of the crew on the website! There has been no word yet from the other half of the club as to the fittest male crew. When a decision has been reached, we will let you know!

Finally, THE BRIDGE PARTY HAS BEEN MOVED TO GREEN, for reasons unknown to us. However, calling it the Green Party would be a bit weird.

"Cheeky," from Worcester writes:
"After there great performance today, St Hugh's WA showed they can take the pressure in close races...Good luck to them for the rest. Well done to Merlin for a great effort staying close too!"
-Wonder if their grammar is any better? -Ed.

Richard, from Worcester MA writes:
"Just coming to the end of a 3 week intensive training course in the Spanish rowing capital 'Del Redgravazio' the Worcester men's A are a crew to be feared. Having done 40 lengths of the lake every morning since the beginning of term our fitness is unquestionable. The pink destroyers will triumph."
Hmmm... Wonder what the Proctors will say to that? Ed.

"He who must not be named" (Lord Voldemort, presumably) has also joined in the fun:
"Anyone who saw ChCh WNA along the boathouses stretch yesterday morning will probably agree they have to be favourites in the women's draw. Especially as every other coach stopped to watch them go past. Mansfield M1 seemed a little annoyed to be passed by a women's novice crew as well!"
- Are you sure it was Mans MA, or did you have your contacts in the wrong way round?
Keep the comments coming, as the marshalls want to know who the fit crews to look out for are! - Ed

Greg, from Pembroke MB writes:
"Looks like there will be a clash of the titans in the first round of regatta. As Pembroke MB (known as 'C' in IWL) has raced in IWL and after being cut of and crashed into Hall crew, losing about 10s still came 6th losing only by 8s."

The pace is picking up! D has added the following comments:
"Magdalen MA are looking pretty good, as is the stroke of Jesus WB."
Look D, you could always try Oxford Romance!!-Ed

15th November
The publication of the draw has brought some activity! S writes:
"I await the Battle Of the Spiders (BalliolD/ExeterD, presumably!) with great anticipation"
Riiiight - Ed.
