News
30th November (16h30)
Due to excessive wind, the organisers were forced to turn the final day of racing into a Head Race. Well done to all the crews and marshals for responding to the change.
Congratulations to Exeter MA and New WA for being well-deserved winners
A photo of the wining crews is available here
28th November (17h30)
A fantastic third day of racing. The results and schedule for tomorrow are now up, see you all tomorrow!
27th November (21h30)
A fantastic second day of racing. The results and schedule are now up, see you all tomorrow!
A massive well done to Balliol for getting all four of their Men's crews out on the river in quick succession.
26th November (23h30)
What a first day! Five klaxons made the schedule run late, and many thanks for the patience of crews left on the start line when we had to halt racing. Trinity Women's A have been removed from the Regatta entirely for causing a very dangerous incident. Also, Regent's Park have been awarded the win in race M20 after Linacre MA decided to go the wrong way down the course and cause a klaxon.
The schedule for tomorrow is now up, along with the results. We have had to shuffle a few races around for potential kit clashes due to the Repechage. The following colleges should be particularly vigilant, as they have tight changeovers: Balliol (Men's crews), St Hilda's (Crews D, C and A - the scheduling means that D and C must not share should a clash arise), and Pembroke. For Pembroke, should WC win their repechage, they will be racing WA. This means (obviously) that they cannot share a boat.
25th November (00h10)
The following crew has withdrawn: SEH MC. This means that:
Exet MC have won race M16, and the loser of race M17 gets a bye through the repechage, making M48 a non-race.
Please keep an eye on the website, as last-minute info will be placed here.
The schedule has been updated to reflect the new row overs and non-races.
23rd November (23h00)
The following crews have withdrawn: Trin WB, SCat WB, Bras WC. This means that:
ChCh WA have won race W25, and the loser of race W24 gets a bye through the repechage, making W33 a non-race.
SAnt WA have won race W30, and the loser of race W29 gets a bye through the repechage, making W31 a non-race.
SJoh WA have won race W03, and the loser of race W04 gets a bye through the repechage, making W45 a non-race.
To clarify: The first round crews who have won their races by default still row the course, but the repechage races are cancelled. If any crews which have won their 1st round races do not wish to row the course, they should email the organisers.
21st November (23h15)
Brasenose WC have withdrawn, meaning that SJoh WA win race W3 by default. Unless we hear otherwise, we assume that they will row the course for practice at their race time. The loser of W4 therefore qualifies for race W68 by right.
20th November (23h15)
St Benet's MA have been disqualified from the first round due to non-attendance at the coxing meeting. Magdalen MC are therefore required to simply row over on Wednesday to book their place in the second round. SBen MA are appearing in the repechage as the loser of M19.
20th November (17h45)
The information provided at the coxing meeting is available here. Those of you who were there may be interested to know that we tested all the other klaxons... and they work(!)
Please keep an eye on the schedule, particularly after the first day's racing, as there are potential kit clashes which may result in races being moved in the schedule.
20th November (00h30)
Thanks to all those who attended the coxing meeting. The instructions for coxes (as given at the meeting) will appear here within the next 24 hours.
19th November
